So I kind of fell in love with this lineart the first time I saw it, and I'm really disappointed it did not win the November lineart contest

Anyway, this is one of my favorite myths, and I think the lineartist used such dynamic poses and expressions that I couldn't not color it!

I used my Prismas, and I must say, I'm incredibly proud of the shading on the "skin" of Daphne, particularly on the upper arm. I did all color transitions traditionally, with my pencils.

The only thing I did not...add in terms of...original contribution to the lineart...was the background.

I love this background for this duo so much. I think it fits the setting, completes the colors I chose, and even hints at the tumultuous relationship because of the breaking waves in the background. Overall, I'm really happy with this, and I hope *panchan14 and ~AngelaHolmesStock are too

Yay! I'm so happy you like it; they are quite lovely lines. I noticed someone suggested you attempt a coloring book, and in my opinion, that's a wonderful idea
