Product Image: Take 5

For this assignment, we were to design a product-image billboard advertisement of our favorite candy (or junk food) for Adam’s Outdoor Publishing. I chose Take 5 because I think it’s the perfect candy: salty, sweet, and satisfying! Unfortunately, it’s not the most colorful product. I spent a long time thinking about how I wanted to conceptualize this product and make it interesting, and I finally decided on buying another package and turning the pieces into the suggestion of a smiley face. I opted not to include eyes because this version has five pieces of the candy already laid out (get it? Take 5?).

Overall, I’m pretty happy with how this turned out because as I said, I’m not an art student, and we had a lot of phenomenal images in our class. I’m mostly excited that my concept read, and people really seemed to like it.
